Who: Freelance Client
I had a lot of fun doing this freelance project for a client who wanted to give her niece the perfect birthday gift. She needed a unicorn illustration that would appeal to an older child, so I designed a character informed by realistic anatomy and added interest with the textures of the hair and flowers. I was able to pitch her an affordable price by retaining full rights to the illustration. After the finished project was delivered to an overjoyed birthday girl, I explored standalone applications for the floral crescent moon and alternative color palettes.
